clearing a doubt

hey people, i was wondering, what does the SAF mean when they send a letter that requires a signature from the parent since the son is still under 18. i just recieved the letter recently, and they told me to go down on 7th of july, does that mean that i am going into the camp on the 7th of july? or they are just giving me the details etc.

parents whose son is enlisting below the official enlistment age of 18 years old are required to give signature as a form of approval for their son to be sent for national service.

that means if one's parents refuses to sign the form, he does not need to enlist till after his 18th birthday even though that person is currently a school drop out?

I think there is a portion which asks you to cross out where applicable "consent/do not consent*. erm.. go back down to the cmpb to sign.. im going this friday.. does that mean that they will give me the dates that i will go in etc on that day? or what.

voluntary scheme rite. on the 7th your parent and you go down.. your parents to sign the form that they allow u to enter NS and u have to sign that u are voluntary going in. and that day, u might receive the enlistment notice. and if u are heng, 1 mth later u see yourself in NS. that's happen to me.. go do the procedure then 1 mth later i am in NS

early go in early go out loh. u ORD at 20 years old, many haven't even enlist yet.

coffeeortea jus got back from overseas studies to serve NS first. i'm his sec sch fren. haha. anyway in reference to tt eye doctor at cmpb, i can tell u guys he's fcuking GUAI LAN. he veri impatient etc. nvm i shall drive my lambo go hao lian infront of his rx-8
