What is procedures for early release?

  depends on what you mean by early release...
  
  if you are sick of army already and want to quit, you have to first meet your MTE (term of engagement).
  
  after meeting that than you can quit on 3 month notice.
  
  Otherwise, you just do anything that frustrates the contract with SAF.
  
  eg, downgrade till you cannot carry on the vocation you sign on for,
  numerous disciplinary action,
  etc etc

  Is there a possibility whereby the organisation will prevent personnel from early release? Let say, using shortage of man power as an excuse?

  so what "dork3d' is implying is to try to get discharged from service. but if you get discharged from service due to misconduct, do you have to pay the SAF any penalty or they immedicately void your contract and ask you to fck off?

  don't forget.. they dun need to discharge u from misconduct.. they can charged u to go DB wo..

  You can actually go to your unit's Manpower branch and seek the opinion of the docu clerk or the Chief Clerk or S1. You have to apply by filling in the form and then some big shot will interview you etc

  Already tried all the methods that you mentioned... They just simply ignored me by not answering directly to my questions...

  Hand the resignation letter to ur immediate boss n state the 3 months notice with effect from the date of the letter.
  
  Someone will definitely talk to u. But please be firm when u want to quit or else u will be condemn.
  
  After everything is confirmed then talk about the clearing of "leave n off".

  My concern is will the letter reached to higher level....?? Maybe I'm thinking too much..
