indeed, NS does teaches us lots of negative things like what comberbache mentioned above. especially the 'doing the minimum - no more, no less" part.
especially those slackers who are not serious about their work, selfish and always finding ways to escape work, take advantage of loop holes in the system. some are even to the point of competing to eachother who's is more slack. if u garang a bit, people who say why so garang? the impression these people give me is that being slack is correct.
in my opinion, not say one must be very garang. but at least one must committed to doing his duty and be responsible.
