Hey guys!
After living for long-term overseas (6 years) and then return to Singapore, how soon after will you get called for reservist training?
I am on the holding list, thus unit-less. -
will i get call back for reservist when i'm studying?

Was called back after 1/2 year since return, away for 6 years. Have friend away for 4 years, called back after 3 years since return. Also have friend never leave Sg, but only to be recalled after 7 years.

if they miss you and find you later you can do 2 icts within 12 months. i had a campmate who did 56 days with 12 months.

My friend ORD on Feb. Got called up on June. Go figure.

How long you get called up for reservist really depends on your unit and manpower strength... Like mine, me get called back for two high-key ICTs every workyear, average about 17 days each...Originally posted by dragg:normally one year.

i'm still without a reservist unit.
really looking forward for reservist, at least can get away from work and relax for a few days.

I am studying now,so best dun ask me reservist now,hopefully after i graduated then recall me.

Same here also. been on holding list since feb 2005.
No word on anything. Which is good, cos I am studying.
Strangely, i nv told them I was studying, and my buddy who ord together with me but not studying, also nv recieve unit posting.
I THINK saf too many ppl liao, no need ppl like me to go for reservist liao. -
