Humvees too big for Singapore roads bah.
Where got so expensive. Ask our taiwanese friends how much they paid for it.Originally posted by dork3d:But a military config Humvee has a price tag of US$800k, an amoured Humvee would cost as much as US$1.3M...
Personally me don't favour Humvee for SAF as it's not operational effective and not fuel effective also.... Humvee is a super fuel drinker...
for class 3 vehicles..its considered big la.. too wide somemore...Originally posted by Manager433:Not true. Its the same size as the Unimog.
Not wide at all. Wide then good for balancing. No over turn mah.Originally posted by mhcampboy:for class 3 vehicles..its considered big la.. too wide somemore...

I don't think so, most probably they bought from US. Humvees are very good off road vehicles and very powerful too. I personally seen one tow out a 10 tonne truck stuck in mud!Originally posted by saline:they made their own?
what's better than coming up with a CDI HUMVEE. License the damn rights la, and mass produce it for sale too.Originally posted by tankee1981:I don't think so, most probably they bought from US. But the down side is that they are heavy on the fuel. And fuel prices nowadays are anything but cheap. Further more prices won't be coming down in the long run as earth's fossil fuels is limited.
Ninja Vans?? What's that?Originally posted by SingaporeTyrannosaur:Maybe we should just replace them with Taiwan's Ninja Vans... they seem to be everywhere at all times in all kinds of terrain that no LR can be found.

Ah so... Actually Singapore also have. I always wonder how the uncle know where they is straining going on. He must be on G3's, TRADOC or is it G6's mailing list. :-)Originally posted by ditzy:Its a van that comes with naruto goodies.

Thes technicals or pickups is what is stopping the mighty us Army in it tracks hor.. he he
I don't think it's the Toyota. They remind me of the old blue pick-ups favoured by construction companies of old.Originally posted by Ponders:SAF use already what.. in Jurong Island.
