  Anyway its rather cruel and inhumane if your friend is lying. A normal human being with morals shouldnt be part of this kind of thing. Instead of laughing along with your friend you should have tried to stop this or at least not be part of it...

  The contractors have their personal rights too,the boss of the contractors should not allow it to happened too,as he/she owe a duty of care towards the contractors durning their course of work,it may gotten serious if something really happend.
  As a contractors be it local or foreigners ,as a civilian should not be involve in such a "drill" i really have doubts on the person in charge on the drill.
  
  But frankly speaking , if i am in the threadstarter 's shoes ,as an NSF i will just pretend to see nothing,but i will not laugh too,don;t think seeing a person crying is funny.
