7 days!!! I can't even tahan for more than 3 days. i have a question...
currently i am on attend C status and I am going for my field camp next monday.
If let's say during the field camp I fall sick, do I still need to take part in the activities or will I be sent to the MO?
If kenna sent to MO, will it be considered as fail my fieldcamp and subsequently fail my BMT?

Heheheh no la. Well you wont be allowed to rejoin your platoon.
But you will be placed in another company doing the field camp once you are better. There you will not know anyone. -
if it rains learn to love mud. if its hot and dry learn to enjoy suntanning with long 4. during the 7 days, make good friends with the bugs (especially the mosquitoes ). and yes most likely u will force urself to constipate for 7 days unless its a real bad "lao sai" case.
nite time comes, u'll know why talcum powders are so dame good for. learn to accept the facts that u cant protect ur "wife" well thus ending up with xtra confinements for the weekends. learn to slp in a tactical way when anytime can be a war time. learn to "eat" ur ceral packets without water and cooking maggie is troublesome. if u smoke, remember ur ciggs wun last more than 1 day being dry. learn to smoke "lao hong" ciggies.
so many things to learn, what for geng MC? these are valuable lessons leh. u dun get these lessons out here 1 hor. -

and anyway...i can't stand the thought of being ordered around, with people watching your every move, waiting for you to make a mistake and punish you. But then again it's bmt, so you gotta get things screwed in from the start so you won't be a liability to your fellow soldiers when things get rough. When i did my recourse bmt in tekong, the field camp was cut down to 4 days, and we returned back to coyline every evening to sleep. A bunch of us even requested our pc to let us sleep outfield instead! But they were reluctant, and i can understand why. Not worth the mosquito bites to stay outfield when the participating strength is only 7. LOL. -

Last time I was in the Obese batch, so field camp only 5 days 4 nites. Actually its 5 days 5 nites starting Monday, and we leave on the sat morning back to coy line.
Super obese one do 3 day 2 nite field camp, but have 2 do the field camp twice.
Field camp is probably one of the best things for me during my BMT, because after that, I was posted to Navy, and I no longer have to do field camp. Field camp really bonds ur section together, as u will be doing a lot of tactical things together. Also, it will jolt u out from ur comfort system. If u think being away from the comfort of ur home bed is hard, try field camp. Sleeping in the wilderness, with only a tent for ur roof really makes u appreciate the finer things in life.
I remember wanting to shit on the first day of the field camp, but when i got to the 'sai kang' i saw that it was SWARMED with flies. My shit somehow immediately went back to my system, and i didn't shit till the 5th day. Once back to Coy line, the most popular place for recruits was the toilet. Lol. Coz need to shit, and quickly bath so can book out.
Field camp is fun, because it builds u up, and really helps show a side of u u never know. -
field camp is the time where u can c the true colours of ur platoon mates!

I think my field camp had the best conditions ever. At the rubber(?) plantations, flat plain, no slopes. No rain, not very hot either. No last day turn-out either, although we were all prepared by word-of-mouth.
I thank my lucky stars (or that rumored white horse in my company). -
