Time flies, 13 years has passed since that fateful first 3 weeks in the army at 7 BTS. There's Monkey God and No Woman No Cry, who can forget these two guys?
He's a malay PTI with No Woman No Cry tatooed on his chest.Originally posted by saline:"No Woman No Cry" ?!?!?!?
Monkey God was the PTI during my BMT back in 1993 at 7BTS ... his PT lessons made everyone go into concussions with his kind sardist training ... I heard he got charged for ill treatment ...Originally posted by saline:his stories are legendary man. haha!!
Oh I have seen my rsm scold a junior officer b4. the officer in a senang diri position even. even his head is facing down. my rsm so fierce. but very lovable.Originally posted by Fatum:I've never seen enciks fark LTAs before .....
But I've seen some pretty bad quarrels between enciks and NS officers ....
Well, during my time, when we were practicing for Bgd Commander's parade, My RSM asked the junior officers to run around the parade square due to lack of commitment of the training.Originally posted by Fatum:I've never seen enciks fark LTAs before .....

Not true.. My RSM wud see any greenhorn newly passed out officer, greet and even salute.Originally posted by pwnz0r:Typically, officers disciplinary matters are dealt with by the CO, not the RSM these days. However, the key words you can read from some of the articles refer to junior officers. I've seen RSMs reprimand younger officers quite frequently - those lieutenants.
If you see the RSM salute you, a junior officer for no reason, you know its a preface to a scolding. My previous RSM would sedia himself, fire off a salute and then proceed with 'Sir, ...'. Surely kenna from CO later. Happens sometimes.
the monkey god is a PTI la....Originally posted by acwire_2125:I think the Monkey god is "Monkey" Chia, he teaches Commandos to kill in the jungle and rear's a monkey with him.
Best was when RSM keep telling officers to "semulah" and telling them that have to set good example to the men who was watching from the building balconies.Originally posted by Shigemichi Take:Well, during my time, when we were practicing for Bgd Commander's parade, My RSM asked the junior officers to run around the parade square due to lack of commitment of the training.
I wonder how an officer would feel when a MSG fucks him upside down in front of the whole company...Originally posted by BillGates:I think now no such values already...
Any WO which make an officer knock it down can wait to be put on the condemn list liao...
Esp if the officer is his superior.
i have nv seen a MSG dare to do tat.. afterall he is only a MSG, a senior spec, not even a warrant..Originally posted by Hellraiza:I wonder how an officer would feel when a MSG fucks him upside down in front of the whole company...
No way would any officer be impress and write a recommendation letter for promotion after being punish to do push-up by the RSM due to walking across the parade square. A NCO(Non Commissional Officer) has no authority to punish a commissional officer, not to mention that the officer is a captain in rank and holding the appointment as an OC. (except if that officer is undergoing some training course as a trainee such as Ranger or Airborne courses etc.)Originally posted by mhcampboy:He was in infantry if im not mistaken. He was an RSM of a certain unit. I forgot which one. And he saw an officer, captain i think walk across the parade square.
He saluted the officer and then made him do push up. The officer was impressed by his attitude that he wrote a letter of recommendation that he be promoted to be an officer. To a LTA. But he retired as a CPT though.
Yar ok my bad then. So its a drill session. but still the captain was impressed with the RSM and wrote a recommendation letter for him to be an Officer.Originally posted by erijazz:No way would any officer be impress and write a recommendation letter for promotion after being punish to do push-up by the RSM due to walking across the parade square. The parade square were marked distinguishly with yellow paint. During those days, no one is allow to walk across the parade square except during parade ceremonial or drill lesson/session. RSM was named King of the Parade Square as they are the subject matter expert in the field of Drills and Parade Ceremonial.
Tiger Hong spotted that officer walking across the parade square, he first salute and greet the officer then request him to remove the epaulettes from his shoulder. Conduct an extra drill session on the spot for him then ask him to put on his rank back on the shoulder, salute him after the drill session.
from what i heard is, the captain wrote a recommendation to convert tiger hong into an officer SO HE CAN TEKAN HIM BACK makes sense doesnt it.Originally posted by mhcampboy:Yar ok my bad then.
