Any thoughts anyone?
Wonder how effective is the Round Corner Firing (RCF) module for the SAR21 and if it really is robust enough to stand the bashing. Worried that it is only added weight more than anything else.
Are they really issuing sniper rifles to marksmen teams on a company level? Or is it the SAR21 with the 3x scope? SSG69? Or the new sniper rifle?
Also the Battlefield Management System (BMS) along with the "sensor managers", in a fluid situation, will they really have enough time to pass the information efficiently, effectively and fast enough for it to make it work.
Don't get me wrong, if all the above works, I'm more than thrilled, but does it really work? Forumites who have experienced it, look for your input.

Hi, just my 2 cents worth. The RCF module I would feel is a pretty neat piece of kit, however, I would prefer to use the Corner-Shot system. Btw, anyone know if the troops in 3SIR are issued flashbangs other then the standard frag. grenade? -
I would think they still use frags, as flash bangs would still require them to follow-up and shoot the enemy. Also flash bangs not that effective in the open areas.
Think a good thing about the RCF would be the fact that you don't have to carefully stick your head around the window or corner to see if the enemy is hiding there.

The cornershot system is a neato equipment, i've seen a vid and the only part exposed is the barrel and a small camera...

Why did I recommend the use of the Cornershot rather then the RCF because the soldier who will be using the RCF has a weapon that is very awkward for him to handle. Its difficult to shoot with cumbersome attached small screen over the scope.
It would be better if the Cornershot is issued as they can be used as a secondary weapon, much like the breecher. Although the RCF boasts automatic fire capability, do note that it does have its limitations,as the screen may be knocked loose or knocked off,unlike the Cornershot which screen can be folded flush to the weapon.
