ok..
went there was ushered to the LT... think those trainees were doing ultimate challenge or what.. their screams downstairs.. in the LT also can hear...
first up was just IQ and personality tests.. took about 2 hours plus. This is conducted by mindef personnels not camp people.
Den split into 2 groups. Those faster ones got to go 1st.
Went to medical centre. Went to see the MO, 3 by 3... MO just ask any past injuries.. and ticked the 'suitable' box in your form... very slack... Guess because they tested it in CMPB already..
Went to do chinups.. and physical excersises... (sit up, push up, SBJ) That's all. They just record down how many you did. No points awarded chart or what.
Den did balance, agility, flexibilty excersises. For me is simple...
Lunch break after that.
Followed by interview. Oh yah at the start in the LT they will pass u a form... ask you for unit preference etc. And to record all your physical test scores..
For interview was one on one with mainly cdo inches.... Quite a few of them.. so quite fast.
They ask u questions according to the form.. like your CCAs... etc.. and circle on a scale of (1-5).. with 1 being Poor and 5 being excellent.
Then will ask... interested? I say 'not very interested'. I thought he'll circle 2 or 3 but that inche ji tao shake head and circle 1. After that talk talk awhile ask me why... blah blah... i say dangerous la.. blah... den he say everyone think like that.. who be cdo.. blah blah blah... can see he has alot of pride in cdo... was nice and friendly throughout though.
Since I read past topics and heard you all say some of your frens say very interested and did not get in... and vice versa...
I asked.. is my interest important for this selection. He show me at the back of the form there's 3 boxes.. its the summary boxes. There is 'Very suitable, Suitable and Not suitable' He told me if i say not interested, he can only mark me as suitable or not suitable. In the end they'll submit names to Mindef, and ultimately is Mindef who chooses.
So that's all.. waited for the rest of my group to finish and they ushered us to the bus...
Parting shot from them was.. "See you guys back here soon!"

Anyway.. how come I see no one with red beret.. wings or rangers tab on my day there? Too lazy to wear?
PRC is a nice camp though... their bunks from outside.. looks like some condo unit to me....
