  as in what they do? whats their role in the army? what training they do?
  what qualifications do u need to become a commando? is their training damn hardcore? coz i heard it is.
  
  i dont want to be in commandos, just want to know. pretty interesting.

  I suspect the mortality rate for commando is lower than the other combat units.

  hi... let me enlighten you
  
  once enlist 10 weeks BMT --> 2 weeks cross training(learn weapons, navigation skill, etc) --> 3 months Vocational training (depends what you kena can be signal, medics,weapon, demo/boat man, leaders 'sergeant') --> 3 months DOT/COT detachment ops training /company ops training --> RED BERET
  
  **sometime between 3rd to 6th month of ur life in NS you will be going for ur airborne course... trust me.. its fun!! defining moment
  
  as for wat comamndos do.. i leave it for you to come and experience yourself..

  commandos never even do actual ops yet keep dying during training already.
  
  if u get to become a CDO, u better be extra careful.

  All of the guys I knew who failed Airborne failed because of injury. They were downgraded and revocationalised.

  I cannot agree more with the only SAF can owe you, you cannot owe SAF part. i've heard of ppl who had to go for vocational training or bmt just before they ord-ed.
