Your Life In A Day's Work......

What do you guys do in ns? As in everyday routine in camp.
No need to say vocation or appointment la. Just tell your routines.
As for me, if I stay in, wake up at 7am and shower then proceed to cookhouse for breakfast. If stay out, I will reach camp by 7 and eat breakfast with my RSM.
8am, collect newspapers from ops room and place it at my big bosses table. My boss PA will call me and inform me of the day happenings if any.
9am, follow rsm walk about the entire camp. and listen to his life story.
10am, go back bunk and sleep or go canteen for breakfast.
10 to 13, run errands for big boss if needed. normally no need.
1300 scan 11b at cookhouse but proceed to canteen for lunch.
1400 go back bunk sleep.
1530 go back office surf internet or local intranet.
1650 prepare to go back home.
1700 help big boss clear his table and put his bag into his car.
1730 GO BACK!!!!! but normally i stay at mess with rsm until night...
heheh my daily routine la. it changes if i have exercise or outfield or visitor from other camps. all those work...and i still receive combat allowance...

0550 take MRT
0645 get off from MRT
0650 wait for ferry bus
0710 reach camp
0715 to 1200 carry on with everyday work
1200 to 1300 lunch
1300 to 1400 sleep
1400 to 1750 carry on with everyday work
1800 wait for ferry bus
1820 take MRT
1915 reach home -

unfortunately, we do not get to experience "normal days" a lot... -

8-830am makan at canteen.
after makan zho bo until 11am
11-1pm sleep
1-2pm makan lunch at canteen
2-3pm zho bo at office
3-330pm tea break
330-530pm zho bo n prepare for nites off.
545pm go home
1030pm book in -
6am wake up.
6.30 go jog.
7.30 bathe.
8.03am take toei subway shinjuku direct
8.26am reach shinjuku, walk to school
9am classes.
12pm lunch
1pm classes.
4pm finish class.
7pm cook ramen for hungry salarymen.
12mn reach home, sketch.
2am sleep. -
0630 By right, wake up and go eat breakfast but I sleep
0700 Drag sorry ass out of bed. Wash up and go eat breakfast
0800 Draw keys, open office.
0830 start work.
1000 tea break
1130 to 1pm lunch cum afternoon nap
1pm start work again
1500 tea break
1830 stop official work and start RSM's sai gang
1900 to 2000 stop unoffical work depending on wat kind of sai gang
On alternate days then 1830 liao can have nights out but come back before 2330
Ususally Saturday is our unit's "offifical" RSM's slave day where all enlistees become the RSM's slave and do his sai gang for half a day before book out. -
Wow, timing-wise you were a mirror of mine. Even to the point of the shuttle bus timing (mine was exactly 0655). I used to reach home exactly at 1915 too. I guess you were travelling from one part of the island to the other too, like me.Originally posted by Gordonator:0510 wake up.

actual timing varies depending on flight plan
lets say i start at 0600
0530 - wake up
0600 - move off
0630 - start work (open paperwork, grab tools etc etc.)
1030 - finish work (close paperwork, return tools etc etc.)
1130 - prepare to launch aircraft
1200 - aircraft launched, wait for makan
1230 - makan lunch
1300 - find things to help out
1400 - aircraft lands (if its a 2hr sortie)
1410 - compressor wash finished
1420 - work starts
1505 - work finish (if its a turn round servicing)
1820 - work finish (if its an after flight servicing)
1900 - go back to camp/bunk

Hey my life was similar to yours when I came back from disruption. Combat pay but like serve as big boss buddy. Buddy, buddy with all the staff officers. Only difference is alternate days I would take driver and go out of camp to jalan jalan. -

0545- 5 BX cum 4km run
0630- Breakfast at cookhouse
0700- Area Cleaning
0730- Standby Area
0800- Inspection (standby area)
0815- Rest
0830- Draw Arms
0845- FALL in for training
1030- Back to bunk
1100- Lunch
1130- 1200- Sleep
1215- Fall in for training again
1400- Back to bunk
1530- SOC test or IPPT test
1700- Back to bunk again
1800- Dinner
1900-2200- R&R at bunk
2230- Last Parade
2245- Lights off...zzzzzzz

i also got lots of off's to be cleared. total plus leave... i got abt 3 months! -
