Anyone knows how much can a 2WO, 1WO, MWO and SWO earn a mth?

2WO about $4500. that's what my csm claims to earn/ mth.

my 1wo was taking in somewhere around 4800.
he never told us the exact amount, but 1 day he grabbed 1 of the guys and got him to calculate his monthly expenses, that's our rough estimate. -

lowest is $2128 (log 2WO) to highest $5501 (combat 1WO)
*not inclusive of yr end n performance base bonus.

my uncle who is a infantry 1wo , takes back $5300 or $5500 , somewhere around dis , cos he ask me to log in army payment site , to help him print out his payslip

the recruitment centre website got show the pay (only up to 1WO for specialists and up to CPT for officers). click 'career' followed by 'career advancement'. note that appointment pay and vocation pay is not included.

Around the ranges that fellow forumites have posted here... My 1WO Ops Encik's pay during my fulltime NS days was about $5.1k excluding appoinment and combat allowance, my 2WO RQ Encik's pay was about $4.8k excluding appointment allowance but no combat allowance as he's from service side...

they not only have vocation pay, they still have airborne allowances and what nots. easily $4k.
how many regular specs. actually get to become warrant officers? percentages? curious.... -

badly overpaid?? these enciks r ppl who have given most of their youth to the saf. most of them have been in the army for the past 20 yrs. Pls la. Personally, i dun think those WO are really doing much contribution and definitely overpaid for the mindless job they are doing. Most of them are lowly educated and they join the army becos they know they won't get such good pays in the outside market. To me, i see them as COWARDS !!!!![/b]

some enciks do deserve our respect, they are dedicated and is like a fatherly figure to us.
but there're always exceptional lah. like some overweight, big belly, everyday go canteen drink kopi, talk cock, read newspaper, delegate job to his men, laze around then go home type. -

I dun know. Been through army long enough to know better. You dare to say that most WO not lowly educated. Dare to say that they can anytime quit their job and find a better paying jobs elsewhere. Most of the WOs that are in my NS unit are doing or have done their further studies and graduated with diplomas... Yes some WOs might not be highly educated and some WOs might have f-up attitude but I have seen WOs with excellent professional skills and performances.
