the 8 hrs long walk was in spore or taiwan? i took 3d/2n doing my longwalk in taiwan. but we took it damn easy.

they r insoles for the boots. for extra cushioning. and since they are thicker than the ones provided, it thus gives the wearer a better fit. also it absorbs moisture better so it also help in reducing blisters.Originally posted by OasisBlue:may i know what is this? -

hi.ppl..i remember i read somewhere regarding the 506th parachute infantry..easy company.(Band of brothers).they did a 100+ miles FBO march under 34 hours.Some carried the 84 mm...and i remember correctly they were forbidden to touch their water bottles.CO inspect at check point to check two full water bottles.This was done during their training..before they pass out to be a full fledged airborne infantry.Amazing....100+ miles is almost 160 + kilometres.Their CO got the news that japs made a close similar feat when they march from the thai border straight down malaysia to reach singapore.So he try it on the easy company...some fall out...one particular platoon completed in full force.not single man fell out. -

Anyway, I still remembered the last time when my platoon did the fast march. When we were taking the 5 min break, the MG team and 84 team were asking for swaps, you should have seen the selfishness in everyone then.
Everyone was looking away or pretending to adjust their equipment Oh well, can't blame them, we're only humans... -
fyi....the graduation march for TNI-AD bmt is 82 click in 3 days...
