Hi, just wondering NSmen still can take up course when we go back reservist? Just to add somemore badges on the uniform and been through it? Anyone came across this before?

i think depend on what unit u from, i got a friend from combat eng, he manage to attend airborne course!!! pls note that, HE TOOK HIS ANNUAL LEAVE TO ATTEND IT!!!! All NSmen are eligible for all courses so long the course does not exceed 40 days.
Because 40 days is the max number of days allowed for reservist call up as permissible by law.
Please add on to the list if you know of courses NSmen attend...
1. Sispec/SWI PS Course.
2. CSM Course.
3. AIOC
4. SAR 21 COnversion
5. LSV Conversion.
bla bla bla... -

Thanks for all the helpful and informative replies.
I'm just an armour infantry (LCP). I'm interested to take up the challenge for the SAR21 badge and some others which i dont have the chance to go for it during my NS days. Greatly de-motivated by fellows camp mates commenting that i'm too siao onz or some lame comments.
Till now, i realised i shouldnt had listened to those losers who in the end ciao keng till drop out of unit. Having these were just my personal challenge and goals as in military side.
Oh by the way, just another side stories. Those who ciao keng in unit, from what i know till up to date. ORD for nearly 1 1/2yrs, some still either jobless, doing some shit work or some ah beng's jobs. Just an advise, dont get de-motivated by these people, because all u have to know is these losers were "LOSERS". You aint going to let losers take control of u ya?
GCC <- only guardsmen can participle right?
JCC <- LCP can take up?
Airborne <- LCP can take up?
SG Ranger course <- LCP can take up? -

my reservist unit had a mass SAR21 handling course for one day to all NSmen. Learn weapon handling where got badge one??

For guards hor, saf ge clever liao, save money
send cpls to sispec to become 3sgt for reservist, they only get infantry combat pay coz they nv gone thru GCC for specs...
but most of them excels in sispec lor n even more zai than the instructors there.
For tankees, same thing lor, go thru Tank Comdr Cse at school of animal, err armor... Shiok la, go there as aux instructor, no need to do servicing etc etc...
No need to go thru bslc sispec.
For Armor infantry, not sure sia.
For the rest, oso not sure. -
