and the safest is to silence those who know abt itOriginally posted by Ponders:There is a directive on destruction of Top Secret document.
The most preferred way is to return to the oringinator of the TS doc and up to the originator to dispose.
Otherwise, the distruction is by double or cross-shredding but witnessed by ppl with clearance to do so.
I guess the fastest way is to include those docs during the "annual" old ammunition disposal.
But the funny about TS documents is that they are not really TS and many ppl actually know the context.
Broadly speaking, most is about world current events and what stance SAF is undertaking to counter those events or react to it.
It is TS (Cicero) that is really TS.
what is cicero?Originally posted by Ponders:It is TS (Cicero) that is really TS.
Amongst the TS documents there are 2 classification.Originally posted by wuming78:what is cicero?

hmmmm... *rub chin*Originally posted by Ponders:Amongst the TS documents there are 2 classification.
TS and TS (cicero).
TS is simply Top Secret Documents.
TS (Cicero) is really Top Secret as they contain operational plans and contingency plans.
Put simple, TS is what i mentioned in my earlier post. there are like, Green Force bought some type-X Gundams, what is Singapore doing to counter this Green Force's new threat.
TS (Cicero) is like, where Singapore's gundam are located. What the gundams will do if Singapore is under attack, where Gundam should defend/attack, etc etc.
so.... we do have gundamsOriginally posted by Ponders:Amongst the TS documents there are 2 classification.

About there.Originally posted by LazerLordz:Reaction Papers and SOPs have to segregated well.
First may be seen by other people without the appropriate security clearance but the appropriate staff appointment, in conjunction to access control.
That's what I think, because SOPs are usually Eyes-Only.
Ponders, am I right?
Let's just say, inadvertant disclosure.Originally posted by wuming78:interesting... and where did you learn this from?
where can i find the directives?Originally posted by Ponders:Let's just say, inadvertant disclosure.
No lah, there is a Restricted Level directive stating all the document classification and it's treatment within SAF.
This directive is directed to Clerks and S1 personnel.
