i dun knoe how to swim .
suppose unfortunately i nid to learn how to swim , wat's the swimming programme like ?
throw u into a pool and let u learn urself . ( joking )
or undergo mad hellish training .....
and if i cannot see clearly in water , will i be given a goggles with degree ....

They have the proper training method to train you how to swim. They won't toss you in the water and let you figure your way out.
I'm sure it hasn't changed in 8 years, but they will typically segregate your company into 3 categories. A, can swim with the proper strokes. B, able to swim but strokes not refined yet. C, declare totally cannot swim at all.
A means no need swimming lessons at all, you can lobo all you want during the lesson time, like sleep in bunk. This is dependent on your own company policy. I was fortunate to be A
Slack time in BMT is so precious.
B would go for training to improve strokes until you can swim.
C, I think would really go shallow pool and to start from beginning.
No need to stress, you're not gonna die. Actually swimming lessons are one of the most relax times in BMT I believe. -

no time to learn swimming .....
i never train when i was in sec skool .....

u don't need those goggles with degree la. u are swimming across a pool only, not scuba diving. no fishes or babes to see also. -

firstly, make a pair of goggle with degree.
secondly, swim without your glasses on
or thirdly, just swim with your glasses on. some people do practise that. -

secondly, don't think u'll get to learn proper swimming lessons in army. as a pti, i can tell u the syllabus is crap.
if u are pes a or b, u'll go through some trainings with the lifevest which is why i say u'll nvr drown. the lessons itself are pathetic.
if u are pes c, u'll go through the old syllabus whereby u'll be taught the proper techniques and strokes. but because of the number of trainees, its difficult to progress. unless u are a fast learner, u won't really perfect the strokes at all.
