For mine..my supposed swimming lesson is only full of tekan,2 hours swimming lesson,one hour 45 mins will be by the poolside doing push up and PT stuff,then 15 mins in the water.
That is no wonder few of trainees end up knowing how to swim after all the bmt lessons.Me myself passed out as a non swimmner and stayed that way until i ORD even thou i am in an active combat vocation,so i am guessing knowing how to swim may not be necessary. -

Not reporting to Camp on enlistment day is one of them. Don't say you don't have a choice.
You have a chioce of not going to camp on enlistment day, but somehow most chose to go. -
cases whereby one is excused swimming are foot rot or external wounds.
or simply, u can just pray for rain.

The only thing I hiam during swimming in tekong is before they clean the pool, basically swimming with debris (leaves from the palm), swim half way suddenly a leave goes "piak" onto ur face.

In the past not eligible for pes E just because they have b_reasts....not sure what they do now.. -
female recruits going through BMT must they go for swimming lessons as well? don't think there's a female changing room at the tekong pool right?

there are 3 toliets at the pool.
1 for males - trainees
1 for males - permstaffs/instructors
1 for females - permstaffs/instructors/trainees (of course female permstaffs or instructors) -
so SAF issue them with swinsuits?

If still cannot they will put your confidence to the extreme test. They will throw u to the sea.
If still cannot, then DB for you for misconduct during training. Charge for purposely failing to swim.

Or produce letter say u go up high places, u will also get high cannot do things liao, u excuse liao.
Or produce letter say when u see insects, u will automatically scream non-stop like a sissy then du need to go field training liao. -
