ORD Date

Can someone tell me how ORD dates are worked out? Is the service term 2x 365days? What if it falls on a leap year?

ord date will be 26/07/2006 lor -
maybe you post your enlistment date?

i ORDed 2 days earlier cos my ORD is on a sunday.

for 24 months service.....
on paper:
the yyyy is plus 2 yrs
the mmm is the same.
the dd is minus 1 day.
e.g.
090605 is DOE.
080607 is ORD.

for 22 months service..... (have silver in napfa b4 enlist)
on paper:
the yyyy is plus 2 years
the mmm is minus 2 months.
the dd is minus 1 day.
e.g.
090605 is DOE.
080407 is ORD.

just remember to do ur ORD FFI (book dental appt 1st then go do FFI at ur medical centre), and must dutifully complete ur unit's clearance forms, before u can step out of the camp main gate peacefully on that very much awaited last day.
if u ORD on a weekend, then u collect ur pink NRIC on that week's friday or the following week's monday. -
