Guys using face toner is so common these days, but do you have the time to do it in camp? If not I'm not going to bring, waste space only.

how abt bring lip moisturiser to camp .....
then bring sun shades .....

Don't forget to get clearance for your maid to come into camp and help you do your training and area cleaning as well.

Most guys I know, even the rough type will care for their face. Who wants to come out of the army with acne everywhere? Not just ugly but painful as well.

why not suggest to your PC, nominate one lobo every week go around do manicure & pedicure for the platoon ? I am sure this will boost morale greatly !
also, suggest in WITS (or what you call it nowadays) - include in full pack, few pieces of SKII facial mask, every other day, whole platoon must do mask parade after night snack haha...

I think it is really silly to let your skin suffer for the sake of being Garang... I wld try my best to take care of myself out there.
When you come out of NS no one is going to clap for you being Garang or a commando or a diver... People will just look at your acne ridden face and say, 'Aiyo, dun even know how to take care of his face'
Sad? But true. -
come on la. when the training starts, u'll rather sleep than do all those mask and stuffs.
strangely, many of my friends nv do anything about their face except keeping it clean with a simple cleanser. and none of them develope any acne probs.

a normal facial wash is enough, like shokubutsu. for me i wash my face every morning, after every training and during shower.

during army i didnt even wash my face with those face washing lotion but yet i dun hav pimples. i feel tat the oily layer on our face somehow protect it from dust, dirt therefore preventing pimples, acne?

Tekong Mud is of special kind... been using it for 2 years.. i am still acne free.

my pimple situation was much better while i was serving ns in bmt and ocs, then after that! perhaps the camo cream helped.

What BS facial mask? We've all been doing the mud and dirt for so many generations already. You new wussies can't even take the dust from the top of your lockers? Whole bunk knock it down and start from Zero.

Maybe they should use NSmen from the 1970s-1980s to be BMT instructors.
Its a frightening thought when these wussies pass out of BMT, into Sispec then come back to BMTC to train more wussies.

yes it's true no one wants to be seen with a face full on pimples. therefore taking good care of one's face is important. washing with facial wash is more than enough. don't have to overdo it.
afterall, we all want to look good in uniform right? especially in no.1. -
Please do note that the Army is not a place that allows you to maintain good looking baby soft skin.
Even in BMT, you'll be put through a field camp and when you go into the field you will suffer.
Your face will be caked with a paste made from camouflage paint, mud, grass sweat and talcum powder. Your hair will be coated with the same mixture. Oil trapped beneath your skin will mix with the dirt and acne will appear... but you won't notice the small bulges on your face because overnight, sandflies and mosquitoes would have put marks much larger, all over your face and body. Some of these bites may bleed. As you run and crawl through the green crap around you, you will get cut, scratched & bruised and you will bleed more.
Your muscles will ache. You will be undernourished.
If you're still placing high importance in your facial appearance. You have the wrong mentality. Change it or you'll suffer.

maybe when you are in bmt or training stage still got time to do such stuff lah.But when you go to your active unit and go outfield training week in week out,you think you have time to do such stuff outfield ah?Dun say what use toner,you won't even do a simple washing of face.Also if your OC is siao on,may even need to put Camo cream on most of the time outfield,where got time for personal face care..... want face care,do it on weekend bah

dun worry la..camou cream nowadays are full of nourishing proteins that help to clear ur blemishes and tone ur skin

always a good idea to have a facial wash in camp. can wash if needs to.
but if needs to go outfield then bo bian lah. common sense tells us it is not possible to wash our face all the time outfield, even with plain water. where got time and who would want to go through all the trouble to wash the face, then next day must put camou again? many will just sleep with their camou on and next morning just touch up a bit and they are ready to go. -
