some still recourse so that they can post to command sch. that must be supported with a valid reason like injuries.Originally posted by Gordonator:no more fail swimming, fail SBJ/shuttle run/pull-ups need to recourse BMT.
actually much depends on the OC as well as TO and probably CO for these borderline cases.Originally posted by tortoise55:as long as got attend lessons etc go btp, fieldcamp (at least got 80% attendance), attend ippt can pop from bmt le
I don't think its the 2yrs bit. Lots of combat units with the men only serving 2 yrs (or less in the case of specialist posted in) get along great and keep in touch. It's the shared experiences.Originally posted by packjust:I find less camaraderie among the 3G soldiers. Maybe it's just 2 yrs and they have the mentality that time will pass by quite fast. It's just serve quickly and fcuk off mentality.
We served 2 yrs 6 mths. Time is really long. With such a long period of time to be together, we have the thinking that we might as well be real good buddies (not those on the surface type).
What?! Since when?Originally posted by monoslayer:SOC is not a requirement to pass bmt.

they still run in their boots.Originally posted by oxford mushroom:23 years ago, if you were in the commandos and wanted to report sick, you had to go FBO (with your full pack), run around the parade square a couple of times before you were allowed to report sick.
Don't think they do that now...
Also heard now they don't make you do 5km runs in boots...is that true?
