  actually its quite ridiculous if a CLT can't distinguish between Army and NCC. he must be a blind fook to not see the difference.
  
  even though I have not worn a green uniform before, I am still able to distinguish between NCC and SAF personnel easily.

  I was in the ncc before holding staff sgt rank, during my time not that bad la..quite fun too, it was my interest & my passion. But I should said that during my nsf I already knew how to handle a m-16 & know alot of knowledege which i can help my platoon mates too..

  I was just a 3SG in SAF but was a permstaff in Taiwan. Therefore, I actually earn more than a LTA.

  Honestly i pretty much enjoyed myself in the NCC. its not so much the military aspect of it.. more of the bonding with ur platoon mates, learning responsibility and leadership etc.
  
  then when u catch up with ur old buddies its something to reminisce about.. i guess if u enjoy doing something then it wont be a waste of time

  i'm from the earlier batches of NCC..didn;t enjoy much during sec 1 and 2, sec 3 and 4 more enjoyable..rifle shooting was fun..

  Well, experience counts. At least the junior officers are willing to swallow their pride and be humble pie to learn, try having a MWO or SWO telling the higher management especially those scholar chaps what to do.
  
  Anyway, being in NCC, the fondest memory is like what most say, the bond. Best bonds between individuals are built in times of difficulties. This can be seen when those who are willing to scarifice and those unwilling buggers, put together, those unwilling buggers are those who end up being ostracised...so yeahz.Its somesort of brotherhood which extends beyond CCA time.

  X2, but in my case, we also got bonded with those unwilling buggers. Those real uninterested ones have already vanished into the thin air ...

  Now UGs without corporal punishment, the cadets become too 'soft'.
  I also think standard had dropped for some reason, and I think partly because of this.
