It not only applies in SAF but armies across the world.
IF you are in a SAF camp where there will be foreign military visitors, you should notice that they also automatic one.
They reach shaded/shelter area they take off head dress.. once they are outside they also wear back. -
ok wat. head-dress if worn properly matches the uniform and makes one look smarter.
i personally like jockey cap with no. 4. Better still peak cap with no. 4 - still relishing those cadet days.
