But it's great that they opened it up. That they recognize that is good for more that just soldiers to attend such courses and that more soldiers have the opportunity to do so.
And before I get flamed! I did say OPPORTUNITY not MANDATORY.
It also puts paid to resources issue. If the army thinks its worthwhile, they'll find a way to do it. Its a question of want or not.

but the truth is, majority of the NSFs are not that garang. Many just want to stay low profile and ORD in peace. they don't care about badges or rank.
anyway there's always marksman and IPPT silver/gold. -

it depends on the individual. i have met a lot of soldiers who r humble n down-to-earth depite their uniform decorated like xmas tree wif badges. some even wear their uniform wif badges during parades only. normal days jus wear a simple, empty no 4. those who tends to play rank r normally those cmi n kena condemned ones.Originally posted by packjust:Don't you think so? anyway, when I went to combat units to do stuff, I always seem to feel them scrutinising my well-pressed, clean no.4 and my clean boots.
I used to feel being badge-less was a blessing. You felt much more free. -
CSB is not a course. It's more like a battery of tests.
