here let me start one
in my camp, i got this despatch clerk who like to greet ppl whoever he see inregardless of rank. he will greet untill he song and say bye untill he song then he go away. some sees him will purposely make a detour just to advoid him -
that you can cheong sua in Tekong and suddenly a fenced up tree appear in front of you... with the sign saying...
"Protected Tree. Keep Off, By Order National Parks/MINDEF". -
last time depending on units, uniformed personnels can only carry sling bags. no backpack is allowed. reason being the shoulder straps will cover the name tab of the uniform. but nowadays don't think any units is practising this anymore except OCS cadets.

When i was in seletar camp, the RP will stop us if we cross-sling our sling bags. that on elephant hill before going for topo exercise...sure got rabbit hopping around.. dunno about the rest.. but everytime, my company goes there..cfm got rabbit hopping

Ya. I also heard about this way back in 2005 while I was there for a div ex. Some regulars told us reservists if happens to see the rabbit, dun be alarm. Once upon a time in Seletar camp, the RP only recorded the MID vehicles moving in and out of camp. Ha, of course lar. Unfortunately I cannot discuss the details. Just that they kena one time chia lat chia lat. Thats why they are one of the most ON RPs around. It was just a few years ago nia.

haha seletar camp , was there from early 2003 to june 2004 , yeah always if cross sling my bag , they cmf ask me dont sling , i think reason is cover ur name tag , or scare u sling weapon from behind , aiya i dont know why la , and ya seletar camp rp from last time bery de siao on /

oh funny incident , when was in bmt in tekong we had our field camp , den u know end of de day must powder bath , den there was dis recruit from same platoon as me , dont wan to remove his pants , after sgt all fark him upside down , at last he remove only to find he is wearing a g-string (guys type).

Last time when I was ex in Sungei Gedong side, saw this tree used for Topo training, the type that they hang some sign on it and you are suppose to shade your paper on it to prove that you've been there. Below the sign, is one big big big pile of human waste, so in order to shade the paper, must step quite close to the waste.

Animals
1) Mouse deer in Macritchie Reservoir
2) Tortises ( sorry forgot to spell ... you know the 4 leg kind with a shell !) at Seletar Reservoir ... many of them all crawling around, some with Buddhist markings
3) Tiger Barb aquarium fish in stream in Macritchie forest
4) Fresh water shrimps in stream in Macritchie forest
Inanimate things
1) Old British Army guard room documents in Nee Soon Camp. One was a report sheet for the Guard Cmdr to fill up. He was supposed to report guard strength, number of buglers and drummers !!! I don't know how old this report sheet was, but i thot they gave up on buglers and drummers long long ago.
2) Nee Soon HQ armoury full of British weapons. Lee Enfield .303 rifle, British SLR auto rifle etc etc
