Hihi guys pls advise me im going in bmtc sch 1 this sat at 9 am but i wonder y i kanna bmtc sch even though my highest qualifaction is o levels . I took diploam course but never graduate. May i know if i express an interest to be an officer or sgt is there any possibility of being selected? pls help!

BMTC is for O, A and Diploma or Degree enlistees.
Yes you may have a chance to go to command school. But only sispec. or other service specs like tpt sups or cq.
My platoon sgt in bmt was a poly dropout.

thanx for replying cos my case is a unique 1 i used to be a regular police officer but i quit due to personal reason . However if i o levels nia y cmpb personnel post me to bmtc? i thought bmtc sch for poly or a level pple only?

icic lol i veri sian do abt 5 years of regular service then kanna ns at saf . However i thought sgt is the lowest form of life in the whole organsation of saf? no offensive comments but i think this is a fact rite?

sorrie but i call up cmpb and they dont know how they can check i attended diploma course before and they state that since i attended dip prog before , im enligible for bmtc sch i think that is funny rite? may i know mono intake better or bmtc sch?

as long as you got O LEVELS!!! u r eligible for bmtc also!! not neccesarily mono intake!!

OCS only for poly, 'A' levels n above.

hihi thanx for replying cos im really interested to be officer so really no chance if got o levels only? cos i got ask the cmpb personnel 2 days ago and they state that if perform well in bmtc regardless of wat education level got chance to be officer or sgt if in bmtc . mono intake more harder rite? cos i like the power of being commissioned.

wa... cos i know if kanna bmtc sch pop sure become sgt or officer since sgt always kanna from officer and men might as well be officer rite? cos i last time used to be a regular police officer does this help in being selected for ocs or sispec then cross over to ocs? i going in soon veri scared

the idea of minimum entry requirement is cos SAF wants all leaders to be graduates (diploma is allowed since can quite easily upgrade to degree). -
sorry. i dun really understand. how old r u? how come u was a regular police officer n now going to enlist for army bmt? when u signed on for police, shouldnt u have completed ur bmt in police academy??

my coy was full of PhD's (poly halfway dropout). many went on to sispec. -
hehe im 25 this year i first sign on as a regular police officer when im 20 but i left 4 more months to complete for 5 years and due to some persoanl reasons quit the force and since i never complete the 5 years i have to severe ns again cos the 5 years bond got include ns liability . that is called minimum term of engagement.
