  Hi. If i sign on during or after poly, am i able to skip sispec and get selected for OCS ? Or they only select potential soldiers during bmt time?

  u cannot just sign on as an officer (if not most would sign on as an officer liao). a spec maybe. officers as u should know by now is chosen during bmt (ok maybe the computer test played a small part ). so lets say u sign on as a spec, and if u perform well and get selected for OCS, SAF would let u convert to the officers scheme.
  my frend was one of such case. he signed on during his poly days (JPSDS).
  but seriously, please think tru b4 signing on the dotted line. serve ur BMT first b4 commiting to a military career.

  yup, think so.
  
  Though if you Air levels or poly...higher chance...but again depends on BMT performance, etc.
  
  and i think before that, you need to undergo some phychomatric tests to test your aptitude and decision making etc.

  You can sign on as an Officer, but your contract is only approved upon passing out from BMT and making it into OCS.
