Full time NSman Private Yeo Chang Wen Ambrose dies, found at foot of 4-story building

SINGAPORE: A full time national serviceman was found unconscious at the foot of a four-storey building in Hendon Camp early Monday morning, and later pronounced dead.
The Defence Ministry says Private Yeo Chang Wen, Ambrose, 20, was a driver in Headquarters Supply and Transport.
The duty medical officer attended to him immediately on-site and Yeo was rushed to Changi General Hospital, and pronounced dead an hour later at 3.30am.
Both MINDEF and Police are conducting investigating, and MINDEF and the SAF are providing all necessary assistance to the family. - CNA /dt -

Ambrose is such a nice name.
Anyway, now that even service personnel are dying. Guess safety culture will be greatly enhanced in the entire force.
But somehow, I hope it is not because of "training" purposes.
Nonetheless, he died while on "duty". So guess SAF should really give assistance to the family.

This is the worst fear of every mother of an NSF - to lose her son while doing NS. -
