so did he steal the hp?? if he stole it and couldn't be a man and accept punishment i don't really feel sorry for him, i will feel sorry for his family but not for himOriginally posted by egaroiax:Guys, this guy is my gf's ex. He committed suicide because the medic there accused him of stealing a handphone. On top of that he was very stressed. Just went to his funeral just now. Last day on Weds. At a temple near tanah merah MRT. The story goes that the medic accused him of stealing a handphone and a group of guys started chasing him. He couldn't even die a handsome guy
R.I.P
even if he did not, it's hard to face accusation, esp. when you're solo, against a group.Originally posted by Geforce3:so did he steal the hp?? if he stole it and couldn't be a man and accept punishment i don't really feel sorry for him, i will feel sorry for his family but not for him
If it is true that he stole a handphone - at this juncture, its not proven, hence we give him benefit of doubt. Supposingly he stole the handphone, the medic should not have taken the law in his own hands. There are channels & avenues that he can escalate the issue. Chasing the guy resulting in this tragedy is unwanted.Originally posted by Geforce3:so did he steal the hp?? if he stole it and couldn't be a man and accept punishment i don't really feel sorry for him, i will feel sorry for his family but not for him
Its not easy to cover up. Obituaries will appear, and people will talk. I understand that all death cases involving NSFs will be made public. How big and the placement of the column in the papers is a question mark. Sometimes, it is quite difficult to detect a small column at one corner.Originally posted by hisoka:one wonders for every one incident reported inthe news, how many hundreds or thousands are covered up
well, prob true but i was also refering to injuries( or at least serious ones) etc.Originally posted by KoolKool:Its not easy to cover up. Obituaries will appear, and people will talk. But it always ends up with "MINDEF will be convening a Committe of Inquiry ......". But that's the end, I don't see anything after that. The few exceptions were training deaths, and it has gone into parliament. So, I don't think there are any deaths involving NSFs not reported.

He jump to prove his innocent! The poor young man only 20 years old.Originally posted by scabstermooch:Guys, assuming the story is true, please dun try to push the blame to the medic. He did not push him/anything.
The guy jumped. He has himself to blame.
So? If that is really why he did it, then he made his choice. How is it anyone else's fault?Originally posted by Manager433:He jump to prove his innocent! The poor young man only 20 years old.
Let's pray in silence for him and hope he will find his way in his next life!Originally posted by egaroiax:About me being a clone -.- Please search for topics I have posted in SAF forum and AA. Anyway about him being chased physically or hounded for the phone vocally his family isn't too sure either. Just got back from the wake again. Tml's the last day and their moving off at 10. To me this is just another innocent victim of social abuse and bullying. His family said he was facing alot of stress in the army. Anyway I'd like to have a moment of peace for him. He's moved on and RIP.
