hey,
would it be possible for an nsf to encash his unclaimed leave? I have too many tasks to perform before i ord that i doubt i'll have time to clear leave.
i also do not want to be irresponsible and hand over uncompleted tasks to my understudy, esp since i ord just after lri, i want to make sure everything is well accounted for... -

lol encash,i doubt even now they have this,i got uncleared leave too when i ord too.Was "requested" to sign a certain document saying that i had infact cleared all my leave when infact i did not.ORD already,might as well just settle everything fast

No way... even the regs can't do it now.
I was lucky to have cleared all of my NSF leave when I ORDed. -

Why is claiming leave so difficult? Why do everyone only clear when they ORD?
BTW, since NSF is 2years, is the leave from year 1 forfeited if it's not claimed by then? -
talk to your CO to extend your ORD date to use it to clear your leave lor.

Now, the smarter A-level students would wanna extend their ORD dates 'cos most of them in my unit are leaving in Nov and have to wait until July or August for their Uni studies. nowadays NS is 2 yrs i dunno the policy. my time was 2.5 yrs -
army is a cruel world, they pay u peanuts, they deserve to get 1-2% of responsibility back from NSF!
Hw much does responsibility in army worth, every 3kg = more sai gang + extra confinement if do wrongly. So wat u tink???? CLear ur leave lah! ur understudy will find the way to struggle thru! -
