Shouldn't we attribute these injuries to the softer soldiers of these days.
back then when i was serving the nation, the training was hard and eveyone was extremely fit, we dont hear of such injuries unless those "chao-kengs".
i guess u r one of those who think u r pretty tough, therefore please enlighten all of us wat your vocation was.
also note that most deaths are from Hendon Camp. commandos push themselves to their limit and beyond, always thinking that "impossible is nothing". once in a while, somebody drops.
have u ever jumped? rapelled? dived?
wat u said insults and dishonours those who died during training.
your nonsensical pure tekan training was NOT
operational training. how can pushups, crunches, or watever nonsense specialists of your day can come up with, compare to operational training?
if u r talking about the rations in your field camp sux compared to the rations now, fine, u win. but that is only because none of us "young weaklings" tasted wat u "old but tough guys" ate.
in addition, have u ever considered the possibility that u r not omni present, that u will instantly 'know' who is injured at wat time? r u saying that no soldiers are being injured at this very moment just because no one hears about it? if that were true, gimme me 4 numbers.
last but not least, please remember that everyone is a human being. hard or soft, or watever, there is a limit. and, the army is so TSR these days they wont get anyone to do any strenuous activities before he receives sufficient conditioning.
soft soldiers.
