I doubt the LG's heart can take it if he found out tt the MG has started a coup. Anyway, the way to go is that SG should a coup occur, make sure the Air Force and Navy are in before the Army. Air Force as air-defence assets and aircraft belong to them, Navy to blockade all incoming vessels.

In a way, thats how the Sg Govt has managed to control the people. The military coup is impossible since we are a civilian military, and our fellow Singaporeans have been well indoctrinated to fear the repercussion of partaking in actions deemed as creating civil unrest.
Lets just forget all this talk of a possible coup in Singapore. We Singaporeans are too chicken sh!t for that. Lets move on. -
The way that a coup can happen is that unless there is a state emergency, like terro threat level rises sky high and our armoured vehicles and etc. roll the streets with LIVE ammo, then is there an increase chance of it.Now with the central storage of ammunition at the SAF Ammunition Command, I think it would be difficult to stage a coup armed with nothing more then a few rounds.

The SAF is run by the PAP.....so the only coup will happen is when the PAP loses and the PAP cries to their friends in high places in the SAF.

I disagree with that. You do not need to have friends in the high places, you just need them to be in the RIGHT places. Imagine this, if you are opposition the moment you are up, you will reign in the security chiefs both foreign and domestic tightly. Coup in Singapore? RoFL. This is why we have the Gurkhas. While passing by some Gurkhas at the airport, I noted to my expat colleague whether does he know about about the Gurkha Contingent in Singapore. He asked what's that, and I replied 'Well, its a neutral mercenary force from Nepal maintained because the Government doesn't trust the locals.' He burst out laughing shaking his head.
