So here i go. a few questions.

  so im going for my medical and fitness examination on early december.
  
  how long after ,roughly, will i be doing bmt after this examination? or does it vary?
  
  what minimium requirements for the fitness examination? eg. how many chin ups?
  etc
  
  how old were you were when you did bmt?

  My friend went to Australia for 4 years for a degree programme and came back, still like Ah Beng. No improvement in English !!

  Coming from Australia doesn't mean he has a superior command of English. Most of us will have a better grasp of the basics than any Australian public high school student anyway..That's something I've seen for myself.

  haha since when did the command of english mattered in posting casually on a forum?
  
  what lazerlordz said is roughly true, we grasp the same basic concept of the english language no matter what, even if it is in an australian or in a singaporean high school. its just a matter how you execute it.
  
  btw ive been living here for 4 years now, u can say im a product of the aussie high school system = slack. ive been through singaporean primary school as well, theres a vast difference.

  normally one will get enlisted a few months after taking their medical checkup.
  
  your so called fitness examination is called INDIVIDUAL PHYSICAL PROFICENCY TEST (IPPT)
  
  for IPPT, u can refer to this website for more info. to pass u must get a D grade in all stations.

  majority of singaporeans serve NS at the age of between 19 to 20 years.
