IV may be difficult to accept at the start.
but lemme tell you, its the last thing you worry about after a few weeks with all the sian tests coming your way >.< -

you MRF which plt anyway? i got hell lot of friends in 13(or was it 14?) -

Heads up from the P-032 batch(current).
For future medics to-be, god bless you. Why? Currently the new course commander 2WO Tan Puay Ming decided to revamp the curriculum starting from P-033 batch onwards.
Changes from current system(Tentative, from what I heard from my SGTs)
-Running 2-8km on every even/odd days of the week
-1 hour static training session per day
-Eventual 24km Route March
-Field camp
-Drawing of rifles everyday during Combat Phase(Fall in 5AM)
-Everyday night training(Till 9+++PM)
-Outfield at Mandai when needed
Hope this will help future medics-to-be prepare themselves mentally. -

Tan Puay Ming? isant he a "high" flying wospec, aiya, this ppl like this one, will "promise" alot of things...somemore now CARMO, CMC all new one, he will say things like this to make it sound garang....then when it comes, all this things will magically dissappear...
or maybe all the SM feedback recent batchs are all F**k up and MWO LSH(you know you know, you don't know, better not know) decide that combat medic course need to be "revamped" haha.... -
Yup, he's the high flying one. 2WO at the age of 31. Actually, a lot of the current instructors don't really like him. Even the CO SMTI forced him to give us off on friday. His was so pissed off that he made us do alot of shit this whole week.
And can say quite slack la, cause he came in late into my batch, he cannot change the training programme(thank god!). Other then the screwed up stuff of his, its been quite slack. =D =D -
I'm also in the current P032 batch. I choose not to get personal with mentioning or "arrowing" our commanders, but there certainly are a lot of changes with the course, which got a lot of us thinking on the purpose behind such "drastic" changes.

My platoon thinks all these changes is just another way to get promoted fast. Sad for us all actually.

The most ironic thing is the course commander for the new batch was my brigade's former senior medic. He's like a legend over here la.
