the lowest grade amongst the 8 categories will determine ur PES status. PES A requires minimum 1 for all, PES B is 2, PES C is 3, PES E is 4 and PES F is 5.
PES D is a temporary classification.
Hearing is classified as a cateogry by SAF, and actually assigned a lower weightage, where someone with a grade 2 in hearing can still get a PES A, grade 3 will still get PES B or C.
L codes are outfield deployability codes which are meant for seperate assessment from the PES C/E which is determined by the above processed.
PES C2 and below will not need to fulfil IPPT obligations.
