What if you are shot down in enemy territory? Let's say you are flying support ops in a helo for a UN mission in hostile territory and your helo is downed by a RPG. Please leave these defenceless animals alone...there are other ways to show displeasure in life..Hurting defenceless animals won't help but instead only create more bad karma for you. Step 1: You put the quail in the palm of your weaker hand, facing the same direction as you. You can do this because the quail is so small compared to a chicken.
Step 2: Place one of its wing between your thumb and second finger, the neck between your second and third finger, and the other wing in between your third and fourth finger. Like that even if the quail not calm, also can hold it down.
Step 3: Then come the gruelsome bit... you use your other hand and twist its head along with its neck (Like screwing bottle cock). Pull out and watch the blood squirt everywhere...
And yes, please do it quick and fast. I didn't twist enough and the neck was stretched to two times its body length
In defence of the army hor, we don't kill them for practice only. At my JCC, we tried to cook the quails to eat but then it rained like cats and dogs so we couldn't get a fire started... poor quails died without being eaten...
Maybe they were later sent to cookhouse or something...
But frankly, what are the chances of you finding a chicken or a quail in a freakin jungle?!

If you got no guts to kill an animal for food, what makes you think you got the stomach to kill the enemy? Combat or support personnel are all in this together so everyone will have blood on their hands one way or another. We need people who have the will to fight and win battles, not target boards for the opposing forces.
