  Just a thick layer of mud around the entire chicken. Just don't eat the skin. Peel the pieces of flesh, dip a bit of maggi seasoning. Bon appetite.

  Yup, we went down to the local jungle supermarket and picked up a roll of alfoil, some plastic cups and three 2-litre bottles of Coke.

  Hmm, I gotta remember that one, Shotgun. We caught catfish, but we couldn't find any ginger to cook it with and damn, that stuff came out tasting funny.
  
  Dunno about the rest of you guys, but except for the bugs I found the jungle a rather comfortable place. You've got all the food and shelter you need, and the climate's not too inhospitable. Piece of cake.

  I hate the bugs as well. But i also hate the cold mornings... Feels like the aircon was on at full blast. SAF doesn't issue us any nice warm jackets... sigh.
  
  You can try this one as well. Roast the coconut over the fire or hot coal (for bbqs) . After that its quite easy to open and you'll have warm coconut juice. Its actually a thai beverage idea. Ahhh..
