medical/dental ffi

  i heard from my superiors that after an individual clears his respective medical and dental ffi, SAF would no longer be liable for any subsequent medical appointments or treatments. As such, he would no longer be able to pay for his medical treatments using his SAF 11b.
  
  this is despite the fact that he could be ord-ing as late as 2 mths later...
  
  are there any truth in those rumours?

  no, untill the date u collect yr pink ic, feel free to go report sick at hospital using yr 11b

  Please, the FFI is done to certify that you left the armed forces a healthy man.
  
  It's not to restrict your rights from medical benefits.

  it is not a rumor.
  
  it's true.. after your Medical and Dentral FFI, SAF is not liable for injury you claim to have happen BEFORE your FFI.
  
  But if you suffer new injury after FFI but still in service, you are still able to calim benefits from SAF.

  additionally,
  
  your 11b benefits to polyclicinc and hospital is valid until ORD.
  
  FFI and you 11b benefits is unrealated.
