Btw, NCC realli National Child Care, my fren a CLT, very on, after he get his rank, got new law stating that cannot pump the cadets, cannot make them ru n and touch tree.. cant even take such stuff wanna fight war

Honestly,I pretty much disagree with what some of the fellow cadets and CLTs that have posted in the STOMP forum. I mean balls to them, so what if you know how to use the M16S1? Thats just one of the weapons, I have personally seen cadet specialists who act like they know it all and try to strip the buffer spring of the weapon, end up don't know how to put back. For what? Just to show off the ego to the younger cadets. Anyway...thing here is that frankly speaking, those who know little are those who are smart alecks and act like know it alls.
Franky,as a CLT, I see CLTs who demand standard, but do not know what is the standard and they do not reflect it themselve.So whats the point? -

Well,though I agree that if you're part of a Uniformed Organization,you've gotta follow the Code of Conduct and stuff. But its silly, I've seen CLTs and Cadet Specialists who know nuts bout it and screw the cadets about it. Boots are just to be darkened, but they demand that it shines, uniform is just to be ironed, they demand it to be starched.
For god's sake...as SAF adopts 3G with greater empahsis on thinking soldiers, shouldn't my fellow CLTs and Cadets adopt the same line of mentality? -

Yup...after reading and analyzing...I came to this conclusion that many NCC Cadets act like know it alls. I mean hell...just because you shoot like a total of 18 rounds or so throughout your entire student life, mebbe slightly more if you're a bobo or competition shooter, you think you can shoot at a competitive level with NSFs/NSMen and Regulars? Balls...you don't even know how to bloody do proper zeroing...you just aim off!!! When the first round flies over your heads, you think its like CS? Where by after a day of shooting a few rounds, we can all go back to our lives and live it as it is?
HELL NO!!! There will be bleeding and dying, maiming,killing and raping! Its about time that some people come and wake the disillusioned that NCC is the premier uniform group,just because you don the same uniform as the SAF, does not mean that you are one of them! I mean hell...as a CLT, I choose to book out from camp in civi. most of the times as I've been embarrassed by the actions of cadets in MRTs or in public and being afraid that I might do something which is not going to reflect good on my UG, might as well be myself and be in civi, not that I like NCC any less... -

i know of a school where 60% of the Sec4 NCC cadets are specialists without going for the spec course... Reminds me of a former CLT who was said to be Singapore's most decorated NCC Cadet/CLT with alot of proficiency badges whu served his NSF time as a storeman in Amoy Quee

I don't have a problem with NCC as an organization, or their cadets for that matter.
What really wrecks my nerves is their know it all attitude. The NCC cadets I knew back when I was in sec.sch weren't quite even 1/2 as dumb as to challenge the regulars in terms of contribution to the nation.
Unfortunately, it takes only 1 or 2 of them to ruin the entire image of NCC.

Hello...read with your mind open and your mouth shut instead of shooting off before understanding what I said..I'm against the whole idea of my fellow CLTs and cadets who see themselves to be superior to SAF's NSFs or NS Men...And if it did not occur to you...I see this as a very BIG PROBLEM.Nothing to be proud of...so what if you got throw grenade? while i was looking for some of my old teachers
i saw all the UG training for sch national day parade for the next day for the
half day celebrations
most of them saluted me both the guys and girls only a few did not
their highest ranking a SSG my junior shouted in a damn loud voice " SIR " at
my direction
i was like wtf he said new directive for UG esp NCC is to salute NSFs when
they are in uniform
even the CLTS and teachers who are also CLTS some what saluted me
then i saw one of the sec 5 1SG tekaning sec1s NCC recruits
