  Any PES E ppl here, like to know what cause you to be graded pes E.

  that's one thing I've wondered about .... IQ ....
  
  so what's the lowest IQ the army will accept ? .....
  
  (I'm guessing pretty low, even for regulars, cos I've seen some chaps with the mental engine of a lawn-mower in the SAF .... )

  i think <80 Pes E liao, even lower, like those with down-syndrome or mentally impaired (no offense please), are NO conscription for them at all....
  
  I know a friend from special school dun need NS.
  
  Also eye-sight >1200 degrees. Dun know about hearing etc though...

  I think hearing's PES E also ... I had a friend who's deaf in one ear who spent his NS life at mindef ...
  
  but eye-sight ? ... hmmm ... certainly not PES A but maybe not PES E too ...
  
  a poly mate with coke bottle glasses ended up a C veh tech ... and techs are not PES E eh ...

  Well.. depends where you want to define this.
  
  In Singapore they are regarded as cult and a group that is detrimental to the security of Singapore. Therefore declared an illegal organisation. Individuals are still permitted to profess to this denomination of religion but their beliefs are not recognised and accepted.
  
  In US, it is still regarded as a denomination of Christianity and while they do have a stigma in the general society, their activities and gatherings are still legal and protected by laws.
