hi, i'm going for field camp next week, would like to know what are the things i should buy more to bring along? example how many camo , powder should i bring and any other things?
and would like some advise of how to 'survive' the 7 days.

just don't bring sulphur powder
unless u want to be called scopion king -
full finger gloves for section movement... and for stopping mosquitoes from biting u at night.
trust me.. with gloves on, u can afford to be more garang coz u wont worry abt whether u'll cut your hand when u run and prone and run and prone and.... well, u get the idea. -

bmt leh.. no need engineering gloves la. just use the half finger gloves can liao.
u might wanna "tacticalise" ur snake power bottle. i sprayed painted my bottles black (don't wanna waste $$ buying black tape).
bring spare specs (if u wear them in the first place).
sharpen ur ET blade. -

Field CAmp Survival Kit
1. Wet tissue
2. Fill your initial water bottle with H20 or 100plus
3. Sweets to suck during route march
4. Bring radio.. Pocket sized not HI-FI!
5. Beach Rd Towel... smaller
6. Mosquito COil.. if you dare to light in your basha...
7. Plasters... you will need it... dont depend on medics...
Dont bring handphones.. super poor reception in the jungle... bring liao cannot use still kena caught for nuthing... -

imo, half finger is not good, because it does not protect the fingers when doing section movement, or do anything i mentioned in the paragraph above. speed is life, although this is only training, the last thing on my mind should be where i should place my hand so that i wont get cut.
also, the blardy commando mosquitoes can still bite your fingers. -

hmm... maybe the threadstarter should powder bath himself in sulphur powder and see why he'd be called scorpion king. -
