i'm not exactly very sure of the Army's established rank for Chiefs
But i do believe some Formation Chiefs, esp those of Combat Support and CSS may not get their one-star.

In Air Force. Service Chief and Head, Air Ops will usually be a 2-star and 1-star.
Comd TAB is usually leaves one star as well. Forgotten abt the rest of the bases liao. PLAB, SBAB, CAB, TASC Commandaers are COLs if i do not remember wrongly.
Comd ADSD is a one star, by virtue of the orbat structure.
CAMO (Chief Air Medical Office) is a COL estab
Therefore at any one time, the Air Force will have at least 4 to 5 Generals, not counting those who are seconded to Joint -

I was more impressed with his predecessor at our unit. Can't remember his name fully tho, COL XXX Yew Fai. Or smth like that. I was a PTE when I joined the unit under him. -
k k.. if you all did not notice i was trying to make an estimation not to confirm the number of Generals.
And how i come about was to estimate which positions are likely a BG estab.... i may get some wrong...
but i feel my estimate of 60-80 quite likely. -

Uh Uh... former Comd, PLAB BG Voon Tse Chow got his star before posting out. Not sure is because of his posting as Defence Attache though
