I think i signed 3 extra for accidently allowing a soldier who is doing sol to book out when doing guard comd.
It was my fault for not checking the rp/sol book thoroughly, but luckily he booked in in the evening. -

about 2 years back, some warrant RSM from SAFTI MI tried to pull rank by saying i never greet him. steady man.
i'm wearing blue and he's wearing green.
i don't even greet my own officers!
i went to tell my WOIC about it and he said "don't bother" -

signed many extras doing guard comd duties all issued by rsm. the ironic thing is, the extras equate to even higher risk of getting more extras!! coz more guard comd duty means more risk getting extras!! ccb!
best of all, the extras are for weenie meenie things. -
Signed 3 as a Guard Commander...
for my sentry not being at his post. Sentry had to sign 7. Just happened that I "deployed" my sentry to fetch something from the guard room. I was waiting for him at the sentry position. I was without SBO and rifle... just no. 4 uniform ... !
Then, I bumped into the CO on his way back to the officer mess. He took a shortcut and was passing the sentry position. He said "hello" and walked away. Next morning, he complained to the RSM ! -

I kenna 4 in all my NS life, all for stupid reasons and not for really trying to break any rules. Actually made me feel kinda unhappy, because it really tempted me to do silly things and break the rules to make my extras "worth" it.
But never kenna any as Guard Com before, as much as I hated doing it and got tons of close calls.
The most zialat one was one day doing weekend guard for Tekong, the ammo guard commanders DID NOT sign out the ammo for a few detail of prowlers for some reason they would greatly regret. There was little I could do about it for I was stuck as Guard Com for the Tekong pier but the fallout was huge enough that the IDSM wanted to charge us all for it... but relented on me and my guard 2 when he realized that we were from different companies and let us off without a scratch.
But he did have me running all over Tekong on weekend morning trying to find the two errand specs to report to him under the idea that something bad was going to happen to all of us.
That sucked pretty much, and thankfully it was one of the last guards before ORD. -
