You need some amount of physical fitness. The rest is in the mind. Its endurance that can take you through, not just fitness.Originally posted by SpecOps87:Hi All,
I've got like 1.5yrs to go before I enlist. I'm wandering if its too late to start building and conditioning my body to the training. Can someone like recommend to me a Strength and Endurance Building which is progressive in nature?
In my sec.school days I used to be able to climb the low ropes element in SBO and with a dummy rifle using purely my arm power, w/o any assistance from me legs except during the beginning. My NAPFA/IPPT scores last taken when I was 17 is as follows: 2.4Km-10.15min, Shuttle Run-10.2sec, Standing Broad Jump-2.43m, Pull-Ups-9, Sit & Reach-67cm, Sit-ups-58.
I'm trying to regain or even improve my strength and endurance.
Thanks!
yea, damn true. the school nafa cmi one. go army die.Originally posted by Marco_Simone:This I agree.
Coz some of the direct BMT batch guys slack off during the long break after their studies.
Or their so called 6 chin ups are actually half assed attempts and the NAFA tester was half asleep during the test.
When they come in,they really suffer man...
Thats not the only point. Towards the end of BMT, you always see the PTP pple booking out at 8am while the enhance pple book out at 1-4pm.Originally posted by Marco_Simone:This I agree.
