Its always rush to wait, and then wait to rush. So when waiting (never know exactly how long), what better pastime than to puff a cigarette ?

FYI, if your amry friends are truth friends, then they will not be offering you to smoke. Instead they will ask you not to smoke. Cigarette now expensive like dun know what already u still want to smoke. Me also smoker, always advice others not to smoke. Now kopitiam must smoke at smoking corner, PUB soon will also ban, bus stop cannot smok, interchage also cannot. waste of money, add on to your allowances. U smoke people give you that look as if you're going to rob them especially girls, looks as if you goign to rape them. PLEASE DUN SMOKE.
Why me still smoke? A, smoke since 1988 till now already, how to quit. Now trying hard to control the no of sticks per day. Maybe u think this an excuse, but once hook, hard to quit. SO think again befoire you light up another cigarette. Remember, SAY NO to Cigarette.

Before entering army, I still a non-smoker. After entering, still non-smoker. Once posted to Taiwan, learning clubbing, drinking & smoking. Finally, I realize life is more than just studies.

most pick up smoking as a attempt to blend in with the others. they don't wanna be left out. peers' influence/pressure.
smoking is one of the negative things one will pick up if one is mixed with the wrong crowd. imagine if the whole section smokes and u are only one who don't, sooner or later, one becomes desperate to get accepted into their circle, one will pick up smoking as well.
i apologise if i sounded mean to smokers. i don't smoke and dis-encourage smoking. -
