New Fieldpack (part 2)

Last time I BMT do full run down SOC with full battle order. No half pass 6. Even use iron pot WW2 helmet thru whole BMT. Wah liao. Now BMT really good life. No need to clean cook hse after meal time, no need do area cleaning, no need clean toilet.

Saw this morning's papers. The 4 equipment are standard issues to all BMT recruits. Wow ! The item I like best is the Swiss Knife. Its the closest association with quality if one does not have it.

the swiss knife.....very long have liao mah....2 or 3 years i think.hah i just my to cut fruits and C-rations out field hahaha other then that it's pretty useless

i want to see pics of the knife.
but guess we just have to wait for this batch of recruits to POP first before we get to see it.

the old swiss knife was a joke, I only put that in my tackle box to cut bait ....
the old buck knife was a lot tougher ... -
Yeah, I agree. Even a boy scout wouldn't use the old Swissknife. The new one definitely more robust looking, fit for a soldier.

well...better than the metallic one that used to be issued...
seem like a scaled-down version of the swiss knife... but if its cheap...might be a good idea to invest in one if one doesnt need too many functions.

definitely better than the previous one.
think other than being a standard item, i dont remember utilising it. in fact i bought one abt 10 functions one for $2 at jurong pasar malam. lol. -

the new swiss knife is so sharp and pretty hard to use.
alot of recruits got cut by the knife.... -
actually wat purpose did u guys use the jack knife for during army time?

Digging rounds out during IA, cutting commscord, combat rations etc... Not very useful actually.
