NS REGISTRATION

Today , i just received a letter from MINDEF telling me to register for NS via internet. i'm 17+ this year but i thought 18 years old then register for NS? Or izzit just register for NS first then when reach the age of 18 , i will be enlisted for the next batch ?
Anyway , im 17 this year and im turning 18 in August . Also , im taking O's as a private candidate. -
register only ma.. not telling u to enlist..

that letter you received is to comfirm whether you are still alive, around and ok..
next, is the deferrement letter
then the check up letter
then the "open house" letter

If you fail O level = str8 away go NS
If you pass = go on till you get a A' level or diplomas or equilvalent -
