  Has anyone used Google Earth to look at the layout of your camp ?
  
  How has that change your views on your camp security procedures ?
  
  Do you think this makes the rules for "no camera in camp" obsolete ?

  its just an overhead view, doesn't say much. i'm sure google has filtered out the location of camps which are sensitive.
  
  i don't think it pose any threat greater than cam phones because with that you can photograph weak points of the camp?

  Well, it's not like satellite maps aren't available commercially for those who are willing to pay.

  Who in Singapore will tell Google which areas are sensitive and to filter them out ? And why should Google listen ?
  
  Its a commercial site of a grand scale. Is Google obliged to consult all the governments in the world of what not to show ? At most, they will just take care of USA. If they need to wait for all the feedback, this project will never be launched.
  
  I think Google will make a lot of money if they charge by per square feet area to filter out.
