What did you do the last day before enlistment???

  Time flies,it has been more than 8 years since I enlisted in BMTC 2,Nee Soon Camp on 8 Dec 1998...
  
  The day before,felt kinda sucky that my freedom for the next 2.5 years gonna be curtailed.
  
  Didnt go out and have one last time fun before enlistment.Instead spent most of it at home waiting for the inevitable.
  
  I remember clearly the night before,I watched EPL highlights and then went to sleep.Before I knew it,the alarm clock went off liao at 6+ am.
  
  The moment of truth finally arrived...

  I flew back from Tokyo two days before enlistment.
  
  Just nua-ed around the house and couldn't get much sleep. I remember playing CM till early morning, resolving to finish the match when I booked out. Then gave my then-gf a call, after that, hopped in the car with the folks.

  Did nothing unusual, mostly playing computer games, pack a bit, not sure if I went out with friends, it was a long long time ago.
  On the very day, suppose to report to CMPB in the afternoon, so left house ard 10am telling my dad leaving liao and took a bus to Bukit Merah to meet up a few classmates to have lunch together then walk over to CMPB and that's it.
  Well, since there is nothing I can do about it and so many ppl had gone in before me and survived, I tend not to think much about it and just let whatever happens happens. Hee
  Relax, just a normal heart.

  went to the nearby shopping centres to jalan jalan as well as buying some stuffs needed in tekong.
  
  surf net and watch TV as per normal thinking what will happen in the next 2.5 years.
  
  but after 1 week of enlistment, i received a good news - our NS have been reduced to 2 years 2 months!

  I still can recall it was the day 23/06/93 where me and 1 of my close friend went to Lau Pat Sat to have dinner and dessert and talk cock for almost 5 hours before we went home and get enlisted the next day ... where he is enlisted to Hendon Camp and myself to 7BTS ...
  
  Then while we are walking towards Raffles Place station to take train, we went past a push cart stall selling CDs, and the song played that time was "Yi Lu Shun Feng" by Wu Qi Long ... both of us sian "half" ...

  i just went to the playground, the usual place where i would meet her...
  
  we sat by the park and talked for a good 2 hours...and i walked her over to the bookstore to photocopy her school notes....
