They're called Ma'am for WO/SSG/MSG. It's the norm. Some of us call them by rank.

When I am bored, I will tune in to this forum and look for Stooky's posts ............. its fairly entertaining.
If we call female WOs Makcik, all male WOs will become Pakcik.

'Encik' appears right for female WOs as well. Any Malay expert here to advise ? -

the male counterpart to Makcik is Pakcik, yeap -
